Spin Doctors, Crank Baits or Jointed Rapalas!! September 2014
First we have to start this report off with an Apology to everyone that has been checking this page and have seen no new reports in over a year.  Shame on us!!  We get so busy sometimes with day to day operations that we don’t do a good job on keeping you all informed on how the fishing is.  We have made changes and plan to keep our weekly report on track moving forward!
The Month of September was a tough month on the whole.  When it came to Walleye, it seemed that the best technique was to cast and retrieve over the weed line.  Anglers had success doing this with your standard Cranks Baits but the one lure that proved to be the most effective was the "Spin Doctor” or "Lytle’s Secret” from Patterson’s Reel Bait Tackle Company.  This ¾ oz tail spinner proved excellent for casting the weeds and proved to be a real walleye hammer in an otherwise slow walleye month. You may wish to check out the September 8th post on the Quinte Fishing Forum for information on the Spin Doctors
Pike were off and on throughout the month but many anglers that were targeting them found them in real shallow waters.  There were a number caught and seen around the docks chasing bait fish.
Bass were slower than in the summer months but we still saw a number of Largemouths caught.
Good Luck and Tight Lines!
